As the role of the treasury professional expands and evolves at an ever-increasing rate, Austin AFP is here to assist you in meeting your professional development needs. We are committed to providing superior educational and networking opportunities to our members. As business issues change and the interests of our members evolve, AAFP continues to offer quality program on the important issues affecting the treasury profession. AAFP hosts 8 luncheon meetings per year as well as a half day conference. We had many excellent programs in 2007 presented by top-notch industry professionals. Among the topics presented were: The Organizational Disaster Recovery Process – a Hurricane Katrina Story; Fraud Awareness and Prevention; The Top Ten Treasury Management Strategies to Implement in 2007; Innovations in Account Reconciliations: Reducing Cost While Increasing Effectiveness; Wall Street vs. Main Street; NAFTA Bank; Updates for ACH Payments from Banking and Corporate Perspectives; Monetary Policy and the Current Crisis and Federal Reserve Bank Directions in Texas. An added benefit is that most of the programs are eligible for CTP and CCM continuing education credit.. In 2007, our membership of over 100 represented a wide range of corporations,
financial institutions, governmental and educational entities. We want
to continue to increase our membership base in 2008, and encourage you
